In an effort to promote a Reading Culture and Love of Learning, Archbishop Kiwanuka Memorial Library @ Uganda Martyrs University joins the Ministry of Education and Sports to celebrate DEAR DAY.
We request that you take a minute or two of your time to come and take part in our activities. We have a variety of material to be read including:
- Books in areas of – Novels; Agribusiness; Religion; Culture; Self-Development; Biographies; Natural Medicine; Easy Reads etc.
- Books in audio form
- Assistive books for the deaf
- Games – Word Puzzles; Scrabble; Chess and much more
A few pupils from St. Patrick Primary School will also join us.
On this note, we inform our “Reader Community” that while the Venue for the DEAR DAY activities will be at the “Graduation Square”, the library too will be used from 12:00 pm. to 3:00 pm.
