The Directorate of Graduate Studies Research and Enterprise (DGSRE) in
collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Health Sciences with
pleasure invite you to UMU 16th Annual Research Conference on Friday, 21st
November 2025, at Nkozi Campus, starting at 9:00 AM EAT.

Themed, “Advancing Sustainable Development through STEAMS and
Multidisciplinary Innovative Research in Health, Agriculture,
Environment, Climate and Social Sciences”, this year’s conference provides
an opportunity for scholars to showcase and share knowledge emerging from their
research and innovation efforts towards enabling sustainable developments.
The conference opening remarks will be given by Professor Patrick Kyamanywa,
the Vice Chancellor of Uganda Martyrs University. He will use the occassion to
give highlights on the university research agenda, entrepreneurship and
sustainability investments in contribution to local, national, global plans and
actions for sustainable developments.

Annual research conference is one of the many avenues UMU uses to provide
academics, students, professionals, industry , local communities, policy makers
and other stakeholders with the opportunity to network, create partnerships,
share and acquire useful knowledge. I therefore invite you to participate and
