What is a library catalogue?
If the library is considered as a heart of the institution, the catalogue becomes the heart of the library. With the ever-increasing collection of the library, the catalogue becomes an essential and important tool to locate the desired material from the ocean of books ( Librarianship Studies & Information Technology, 2021).
Log In to the Catalog
A library catalogue is a form of bibliographic database that describes information resources available in a specific library, or in a library network, or, increasingly, on the Internet, and helps users to identify, select and locate either specific known resources (for example, works by a known author) or resources that contain information on a specified subject. ( Ferguson and Hebels, 2003)
