On October 30, 2024, Uganda Martyrs University celebrated Open Access Week based on the theme “Navigating the Publishing Landscape: Subscription-Based Vs. Open Access Models”<\/p>

Open access is an element of Open Science. Open Science represents a movement toward transparent and accessible research, with open access serving as one of its fundamental pillars.
