Effeccts of Remunerations on the Performance of Teachers in Private Primary School in Uganda a Case of Saint Patrick Primary School of Nkozi Mpigi District

The study was about remuneration and teachers performance in private schools in Uganda particularly Nkozi Mpigi district. The purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between the variables. The objectives of the study were to determine the relationship between remuneration and performance of teachers, to determine whether remuneration has an effect on teacher‟s morale to perform and to examine forms of remunerations provided to teachers in Saint Patrick primary school Nkozi Mpigi district. Analytical designs were used in the course of the study. Both quantitative and qualitative data was gathered in order to establish the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The data was collected from a total population of 33 respondents which were teachers. Data was presented in a tabular form with frequencies and percentages for singular classifications of responses. A statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) was used to establish the relationship between remuneration and performance.
